15 Eylül'de Peru'ya düşerek küçük bir krater oluşturan göktaşı ile ilgili bilgi gelmeye devam ediyor...

İlk izlenimler çarpmaya neden olan şeyin bir göktaşı olmadığı yönündeydi... Fakat bu düşünce değişebilir...

Kanada Batı Ontario Üniversitesinden Peter Brow, Infrasound adı verilen bir interferometrik bir sistem ile, çarpan nesnenin kinetik enerjisinin 0,03kton'luk TNT'ye sahip olduğunu ölçmüş...

Bunun 20-30 kg'lık bir göktaşı olabileceğini de hesaplanmış.
