:: NASA Araştırmacıları DNA'sında toksik bir kimyasal barındıran yaşam formu buldu... GFAJ-1 / NASA

NASA'nın Astrobiyoloji çalışmaları sonucunda, Dünya üzerinde bilinen temel yaşamdan farklı yapıda bir canlı ilk kez gözlemlendi.

Araştırmacılar, ABD / Kaliforniya'daki Mono gölünde buldukları bir organizmanın Arsenik ile beslenmenin yanında, DNA'sında Fosfor yerine Arsenik bulunduğunu keşfettiler!



Dünyadaki yaşam formu 6 ader temel element üzerine kuruludur;
Karbon, Hidrojen, Nitrojen, Oksijen, Fosfor ve Sülfür. Canlının yaşam omurgası olan DNA ve RNA'da da bu elementler bulunur. Yaşam bu elementler ile ayakta kalır ve devamlılığın sağlar.

Fosfor temel olarak hücrede enerji taşıyıcı olarak bulunur ve çok önemlidir.

NASA'nın bulduğu mikroorganizma Arsenik ile hayatta kalmakta.
Canlıya fosfor yerine Arsenik verildiğinde DNA yapısıda bu doğrultuda değişim göstermiş.

Arsenik bilinen canlılar için tehlikeli bir element olması durumu daha da yoruma açık hale getirmekte.

NASA, yeni bakteriye GFAJ-1 adı verdi.

Bu canlıdan, uzaylı bir yaşam formunun nasıl olabileceği (ilk ders olarak) öğrenilebilir.

Çünkü arsenikten kaynaklı olarak, uzayda düşük sıcaklıklarda da bakteri kararlı bir şekilde hayatta kalabilir.

Bunun dışında bir yap boz gibi başka elementlerde canlı yapısını oluşabilir ki ezberi bozanda zaten bu durum.
