Sakarya Üniversitesi SAUPORT adını verdiği öğretim yönetim sistemini (LMS) açık kaynak kod olarak dağıtma kararı aldı.
Sakarya Üniversitesi’nde dünya çapında birçok gelişmiş sistemde olmayan ileri bir anlayış ile geliştirilmiş olan ve ismine SAUPORT adı verilen bir öğretim yönetim sistemi (LMS) yazılımı kullanılmaktadır. Rektörlük sunum salonunda SAÜPORT yazılımının açık kaynak kodlu olarak yayma kararının tanıtım toplantısı yapıldı. Tanıtım Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, UZEM Müdürü Prof. Dr. Orhan Torkul ve Advancity Şirketi yetkilileri tarafından yapıldı.
Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Elmas, “Uzaktan öğretimin açık kodlu olarak Türkiye’de örneği yok, umarım bu Türkiye’deki uzaktan eğitime önemli bir katkı sağlar.” dedi. UZEM Müdürü Prof. Dr. Torkul: “Uzaktan eğitime gerçekten gönül vermiş hocalarımızın ve araştırma görevlilerinin bilgi ve birikimleri ile geliştirilmiş bir sistemi tüm yüksek öğretim hizmetine sunar durumundayız” şeklinde konuştu.
SAUPORT'un kaynak kodunun açılmasının nedeni olarak Moodle gibi LMS'lerin yaygınlaşmasının oluşturduğu baskı olarak görüyorum. Kaynak kodunun açılması SAUPORT'un toplam maliyetini azaltabileceği gibi tasarımdan daha çok destek üzerinden gelir elde edilmesini kolaylaştıracaktır.
Çin, Çangı-2 adlı ikinci ay keşif uydusunu uzaya gönderdi.
Şinhua haber ajansı, Sichuan eyaletindeki Şiçang Uydu Fırlatma Merkezi'nden alınan bilgiye dayanarak, uydunun dünya-ay geçiş yörüngesine ulaştığını ve Uzun Yürüyüş-3C adlı taşıyıcı roketten ayrıldığını bildirdi.
Çangı-2'nin, ay yörüngesinin 200 kilometredeki dünyaya en yakın noktasına (yerberi) ve 380 bin kilometredeki yeryüzünden en uzak yörüngesine (yeröte) girdiği açıklandı.
2,48 ton ağırlığındaki Çangı-2'nin ay civarındaki yörüngesine 112 saatte, yani yaklaşık 5 günde yerleşmesi bekleniyor. Çangı-1 adlı uydu 3 yıl önce ay yörüngesine 12 günde yerleşmişti.
NASA, Astronotların Uzay koşullarında maruz kaldıkları fiziksel ve psikolojik baskıyı azaltmak ve toplumunda katılımını sağlamak için bu tip etkinliklerde bulunuyor.

Yukarıda NASA'nın Terra uydusundan alınan 2000- 2008 yılları taban olmak üzere 20 -27 Temmuz 2010 yılındaki anomaliler görülüyor.
Yukarıda özellikle, Rusya Moskova'da 12 C'ye varan sıcaklık artışı dikkat çekerken, Ülkemizde Doğu Karadeniz ve İç Anadolu bölgesinde 1-2 C sıcak artışı gözlemlenmiş, diğer bölgelerde soğuma görülmüş.
131yıllık veriler incelendiğinde 2009 yılı 9. sıcak yıl, 2010 ise 2. sıcak yıl oldu. Veriler sıcak yazların ardından soğuk kışlarında devam ettiği gözlemlenmiş.
Yukarıda Okyanus Yüzey sıcaklık parametresi olan El - Nino ile küresel sıcaklıklar arasındaki ilişki görülüyor.
Yukarıda ise 1951 - 1980 taban olmak üzere 2010'daki küresel sıcaklık anomalisi görülüyor. Bulunduğumuz bölgenin ısınmakta olduğu görülebiliyor.
